Lighting Training Day Course - BASIC Level

Cost is POA per day each, 1 hour lunch break

Session starts at 10AM and finishes at 4PM

Topics Covered:

From 10AM till 12noon we look at the basic principals of lighting in theatre and live events. We look at the range of lanterns, dimming, control, rigging safely as well as design and programming.

In the afternoon, we get hands on, experimenting with lights, setting up rigs, progamming simple moving head patterns.

This is a great session for anyone who wants to learn the basics in a day.

At the end of the day you recieve a manual / bible of knowledge which we have learn't in the day! Bring a packing up to eat during the day!

Lighting Training Day Course - PRO Level

Cost is POA per day, 1 hour lunch break

Session starts at 10AM and finishes at 4PM

People who attend this session should have already been to the basic lighting course above or already have a sound knowledge of lighting.

In this session we look at industry desks, such as Avolites Pearl and other desks, whcih often crop up. We look at a range of moving heads, including Mac 250, Mac 700, Mac 200, Vari Lite VL1000 and LED battens.

We also spend time looking at design, for theatre and live events, thinking about problems you might face on the road. At the end of the day we re cap on what we have done in both courses.

Sound Training Day Course - BASIC Level

Cost is POA per day, 1 hour lunch break

Session starts at 10AM and finishes at 4PM

From 10am - 12 noon, we look at the principals and aspects of sound. We look at basic theories and then we look at small to medium sized systems for events.

In the afternoon we get hands on. We bring out of the warehouse all kinds of kit to play with. Firstly we start with the basics of a mxing console, followed by speakers, microphone placements, monitoring, rigging and lots lots more.

By the end of the day, we have set up a system suitable for a rock gig, and all we need then is a band!!!

Sound Training Day Course - PRO Live Level

Cost is POA per day, 1 hour lunch break

Session starts at 10AM and finishes at 4PM

Following on from what we have learnt in the basic course, we start to look at pro audio systems. We're talking big gigs here. We look at the pro's and con's of Line Array systems and point source systems. We look at bigger analouge desks, digital desks and the complete digital era in sound technology.

In the afternoon, we start to rig a large PA systems, taking everything into account, including Health and Safety.

This is a great course for all those budding sound engineers!
