As of September 2006; a radical change in ownership has resulted in a complete turn around
and Futurist Sound & Light ltd. has re-established itself as a leading competitor in the
theatrical and entertainment industry. Relocated to Leeds, we are now easily accessible to
the whole of the UK via local motorway access.

Futurist has many years experience in the installation
market.
We have carried out many notable installations over
the years and our staff have the expertise to carry out
your installation, on time and within budget.
We often work in the educational sector and are used
to working within strict health and safety guidelines.
All our electrical installation and mechanical work
conforms to BS7671.
We carry out a yearly cycle of testing and
maintenance
on
school
installations
all
over
Yorkshire. We will come to your school overhaul,
repair and PAT test your system where appropriate
to ensure that it remains safe. If you would like more

Futurist have an outdoor stage available for hire.
We supply the stage as a complete package of
sound, lighting and covered stage. We provide a
total production package.
We require one full day to set up the larger rigs,
while smaller rigs can be set up in less time.
We supply the stage to concerts, festivals, special
events and other occasions where a covered stage
is necessary.
Our stage is fully compliant with the IStructE
temporary demountable structures guide on design,
procurement and use - 2nd edition March 1999.
